Rope Access
All electrical works, helideck structural works, insulation, rig maintenance, blasting, confined space entry and top side structures require active service of a qualified rope access personnel certified by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA).
BISL adheres to the international code of practice from IRATA for all rope access activities and we operate our projects under certified procedures
Scaffolding
The purpose of scaffold erection is to provide access for rigs, jack-up legs, pipework construction or for fabrication of super structures /dynamic heavy lift.
More specifically, scaffolds such as hanging scaffolds, load bearing birdcage, tower façade are erected for special services were cranes are not viable or the boom length may be insufficient for a particular job task.
BISLprovides Advanced Construction Industry Scaffolders record (CISR) scaffolding crew. These are Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization (OPITO) approved rigging personnel with certified rope lighting sling standard to DNV 2.7-1 or BS EN131414-1:200
